Connecting Rods

THREE RODS. THREE LEVELS OF PERFORMANCE.

Crown's connecting rod lineup is intentionally simple.

Choose the rod based on the demands of the engine rather than navigating dozens of nearly identical options.

STREET / STRIP

CROWN STREET / STRIP H-BEAM

4340 Forged Steel | SP8740 Fasteners

The Crown Street / Strip Rod is our entry into serious performance, combining a forged 4340 H-beam with SP8740 fasteners for street-driven and weekend performance applications. It is designed for builders who want a substantial upgrade from factory connecting rods without paying for race-level hardware they may not need.

RACE

CROWN RACE H-BEAM

4340 Forged Steel | ARP 8740 Standard | ARP2000 Optional

The Crown Race Rod steps up the H-beam platform with genuine ARP 8740 fasteners for more demanding naturally aspirated and boosted combinations. Builders wanting additional fastener capability can specify genuine ARP2000 bolts while retaining the proven 4340 H-beam architecture.

PRO RACE

CROWN PRO RACE I-BEAM

A300 Steel | Heavy-Duty I-Beam | ARP2000 Standard

The Crown PRO Race Rod is our flagship connecting rod, built around a heavy-duty I-beam architecture, high-strength A300 steel, and genuine ARP2000 fasteners. It is intended for serious competition engines where high cylinder pressure, RPM, and component capability take priority over entry-level cost.

Product Hierarchy

A CLEAR PROGRESSION.
